Thank God for Affrus

Affrus is like a glass of cool water in a barren desert of Perl development tools on OS X. Perl is all about getting the job done quickly and efficiently - it's a shame all that has been hobbled by less than excellent development tools... until Affrus. Kudos to the developers for a beautiful first release!
Great program

This program rocks. It's a very useful tool for debugging your code. The graphical debugger is extremely useful. I also like that I can run scripts in Affrus and not keep switching between my text editor and the terminal. It makes development much faster.
While trying to run Affrus on my MacBook Pro, I kept getting compile errors when trying to run the scripts. So I wrote to the support desk of the developer. I got an email back from the company saying... "We are aware of the problem. Affrus relies on a Perl XSUB module to operate, and in Affrus 1.0.4, that module is compiled for PPC and so does not load on Intel machines. We are working on a fix. We'll make an announcement on the Affrus-talk mailing list as soon as we have an Intel compatible build ready."
So...all you Intel mac users better wait for the next release...
