Product Description:

iView Thumbnote is a plug-in script for iViewMedia Pro that automatically inserts your textual remarks as thumbnail next to an image thumbnail in your catalog. The uses are many: you could add editing remarks for co-workers, reminders for graphic asset librarians, technical info next to each image, references or "place holders" for still missing items (in slide shows for example), etc.

  • you can add a thumbnote wherever you want, and change its position later if necessary
  • you can edit the thumbnote using Open with Creator (contextual menu item right clicking on the thumbnote) (the thumbnail itself will unfortunately not be updated, even after using Action Rebuild Thumbnail)
  • the note can be as long as you want, it's a simple text file. To read it, view it in media mode
  • you can change the name of the thumbnote by clicking on the thumbnail name and editing it (the name of the Media File, in this case a textfile, will be changed accordingly)

What's new in this version:

  • added easy Installer
  • Catalog window now refreshes with newly inserted Thumbnote selected (previous version scrolled to the end of the catalog)

iView Thumbnote Usage TipVery useful script - Version: 1.1, 3/12/2004 09:29AM PST

django--2008
I first thought it didn't work. After fiddling a while, I found that the newly created text thumbnail does not appear in the selected set, but can be retrieved with a FIND-Last Import.
Now, if Robert Busschots could keep on his way and generate a true picture for the slide show ...
