Product Description:
Wired is an open, modern and free version of the BBS-style client/server system, providing chat, messaging and file transfers. Wired Server is a Mac OS X version of the UNIX server, with an easy-to-use System Preferences panel.

- Fix crash in indexing
- Fix problem coexisting with 2.0 beta (Mac OS X)
- Fix problem with uploading to folders the server can't write to
- Fix problem with refused connections when transferring folders quickly

I got it to work on my MBP C2D... but refuses to work on my iMac CoreDuo (both on 10.4.10) with exactly the same conf file.... tried on another MBP: doesn't work. tried on one MacMini Intel: works. triedon an iMac G5: works. tried on a MDD G4: doesn't work. of course with the same conf file every time... well...
I guess it needs to be improved... I'm really looking forward to use it... if it works flawlessly.

This version does not work under Leopard.
impossible to start the server and getting this error message:
"wired pid (136) is not accessible"

Very very easy to setup. If you have a small workgroup you want to give access to projects
and files than this is your program.
