I've tried many different spectrum analyzers for mp3 under MacOSX, and this is undoubtedly the one i like best. It works perfectly on my iMac PPC with Panther (10.3.9). I don't know if it works also on the new Mac-Intel machines.

I have followed the instructions re: loading on MacBook Pro. Have used the program successfully and love it on a PowerBook G4. Any suggestions as to what might be wrong?

It works fine here! No crashes and no problems! Did the "Get Info" from the contextual menu and it works. I'm running Mac OSX 10.4.3 Tiger and iTunes6.01.

It does say in the specs that it doesn't work beyond 10.4.
