Product Description:

This is a tool to switch between the two options (including one hidden option) for iPod Battery Status display. Your two options are the default "Icon" view, showing a picture of the battery with the dark part filled to indicate how much current you have left. The other view is a "Numeric" view. It shows a number between 0 and ~500 to indicate your voltage. This software automatically detects which setting you are currently using and switches to the alternate method.

How can they request 1$!?!?!?!?! And how can you pay it!??!?!?! You can do this in 30 secs with the Terminal in OS X. Take a look at http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20040226061632743&query=ipod+terminal or type into the terminal touch /Volumes/your_iPod's_name/iPod_Control/Device/_show_voltage
and there it is... :)

Downloaded and installed on my 4th Generation iPod-40GB with Track wheel. It installed and worked without any problem. Just what I was looking for. One minor change would be nice, instead of a number from 0 - 500 a number from 0-100% would be more meaningful. Worth the $1 asking price.
