Product Description:

This is a totally impractical app I wrote, because I had too many status messages saved in iChat, and the scrolling annoyed me. It's dead simple. Pick a status, enter a message, (or not) and click okay, or hit enter.
that's it. It's not querying anything, it's not talking to any other application.

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

Mac OS X 10.4 Intel
Mac OS X 10.4 PPC

Additional Requirements:

iChat 2.0 or greater. (iChat 1.X didn't have an applescript dictionary so this won't work with that version. Period.)

Works with current version of iChat in Mac OS X 10.4.7. It should work with earlier versions of the OS, but no guarantees.

Sigh...stupid Xcode...okay, if you downloaded it yesterday, that was an Intel-only build. I just uploaded the Unversal build. Sorry about that.

I don't really see the purpose of this application. Only thing that would be beneficial is setting the status to idle, which is not supported.

I had the same problem. Just right (or control click) on the "download now" link and select "download linked file as". The save the file to your hard drive and open it.
