Disk Inventory X ReviewUse the Universal Binary beta instead! - Version: 1.0, 7/28/2008 09:03PM PST

There's a beta of a Universal Binary at http://www.derlien.com/download.php?file=dix1.0universal
which works great under X.5.4
I think this program is wonderful, removes the problem of finding mysterious space users in a very elegant and convenient way. Worth a donation, IMHO.

I love this program. Please update it for Leopard so I can impress all my PC friends who made the switch to Mac.

This is one of the most useful utilities ever written for OS X. As drives get larger we get lazy about conserving space until we're almost running out. Disk Inventory X helped me find many long forgotten files and reclaim many gigs of space. This program is so useful it really shouldn't be free. Donate!

After a crash when I tried to run it from the disk image, I copied it to my utilities folder and turned it loose on my drive. Somehow over 100GB had gone missing and I needed to find out where. It took less than a minute to track down a 140GB log file. Great tool!

I like it. Works on my intel Mac even though it doesn't say that it is supposed to. Helped me find lots of crud on my disk that I'd forgotten about and that was sucking up lots of space.

Disk Inventory X ReviewGreat App - Version: 1.0, 4/19/2006 10:08AM PST

I was looking for something just like this. I'm running out of space on my computer and it's very helpful to see where most of the stuff is and what can be deleted.

It's use is slightly limited if you are running file vault as the sparseimage shows up as one giant block.

I concur, this app definitely kicks ass. It's the best diskspace browser around.
