Product Description:

If you install LinSpot on your AirPort equipped network, it will turn that into a hotspot. Customers who drive by or your neighbors can connect to the Internet for a low fee. And that fee goes to you! You can still give unlimited free access to your friends. All online payments are handled through PayPal and processed through secure end-to-end encryption. In fact, it works with any WiFi router and even behind a Firewall doing Network Address Translation (NAT) and it auto-configures itself.

LinSpot ReviewI did not get paid - Version: 1.0.3, 5/12/2007 02:24AM PST

Despite getting several users (including myself) to pay for access in order to test the system I DID NOT GET PAID by linspot.

This is a complete ripoff

It is also impossible to remove the software from your system without a re-install and NO INSTRUCTIONS on the linspot website how to...

Avoid.

LinSpot ReviewNo Tech Support - Version: 1.0.3, 3/15/2006 07:42AM PST

I tryed emailing them at several different addresses that one that was listed in the program and the other from the versiontracker website, but they both bounced back. It also lets in computers which are not approved for free access. I can't recomend this untill they get their email working again. If you can't get in touch with them for tech support, how can I even be assured I will even get payed for any one that accesses the system? Also the page that people see shows in Euros. Ok if we were in Europe i can see where that makes sence, but they should fix it so it can be adjusted to show local currency. Wouldn't you think?

Uhhhh no. Is there ANY reason whoever the individual and or company of this product should get ANY money? No. This and more can be done yourself just by simply modifying your router firmware with FREE FREE FREE 3rd party firmware.. look it up on google, it's there. However if you wanna give up the poney and pay that's ALL your business.
