Qt/Mac GPL/QPL edition Troubleshooting ReportBug in the Qt 3.3.5 installer - Version: 3.3.5, 10/27/2005 07:47AM PST

I'm deeply sorry!! There is a bug/error in the new installers for Qt 3.3.5 and 4.0.1. Due to the compiled SQL-support, the Qt-library looks up mysqlclient-library during startup -> libmysqlclient.14.dylib in the folder /usr/local/lib/mysql . If this is not found, any started application which uses the Qt-lib will shut down (You should see a related entry in the console crashreporter log of the app). I'm fixing the installers - for all that downloaded one of the Qt-installers already - an archive of the missing lib is available at http://naranja.umh.es/~atg/copy-...l-lib- mysql.zip
Dearchive and copy the folder to /usr/local/lib. again: I'm sorry.

nota bene: apparently this is just a check/dependency on the Qt-library startup.

cheers,

Markus Bongard

Qt/Mac GPL/QPL edition ReviewThanks for putting this together . . . - Version: 3.3, 3/14/2004 11:26AM PST

Download and install seemed to go fine. And after some trial and error and error, I think I got it configured right. Unfortunately, when I try to configure apps built in the Qt environment, I get an error that says: "Cannot locate correct Qt headers."
