Product Description:

What can I do with the WEB INFORMATION SAVER?
Saving all kinds of text like news, quotations, informations with source and date for offline use. The saved infos are sorted in categories and can be searched easily. Very handy for creating papers and researches but also for saving postings from online discussion boards etc, it's also possible to save (and view) the information directly in HTML source code.
Why shouldn't i use the Browsers SAVE PAGE.. function?
I did it like this and lost soon the overview. It's always a complete site that is saved -even if you are just interested in one simple sentence! And these large files are scattered all over your harddisc and it's uncomfortable to find them or to search within them. WEB INFORMATION SAVER comes with a powerfull search function to find easily an information out of millions of possible entries
Why shouldn't i use other tools?
Hey! You can use whatever you like :) But they all depend on a special operating system or a special browser or they are just expensive. Through the renouncement on platform specific functions, the WEB INFORMATION SAVER is able to run on all major operating systems like Windows, Linux, Unix, MAC OS X etc.

It is a great idea, but not not followed through by way of the app. It doesn't do what it says it will unless I am being stupid. I tried to go to a URL but could not after several attempts. I tried to manually paste in HTML code but it would not read. It is ok if you want to copy and save text files, but I wanted an HTML library of articles to browse. Anybody know something that will do this? I have a folders crammed with arcane articles on audio or culture or cars or environmental studies or electronics, etc etc.... But often they have picture diagrams too, so being able to save HTML packets in a library with search, etc would be cool.
