Product Description:
It's time to retire all those bookmarks that expired months ago? Too many bookmarks just make things sluggish. This application displays Safari's bookmarks in an iTunes-like list, and determines if they point to dead and missing links. The columns allow for sorting based on name, URL, but also on type of scan Error code. Allows the user to delete any bookmarks without going to Safari. The user has full control over the process, can decide to scan through all bookmarks or a selection, and can also test individual bookmarks directly by launching them from the application. Bookmarks can be renamed and edited. Support for proxies. Note that a backup copy of the bookmarks file is generated so in no cases can bookmarks be lost.

This is for me a very helpful program. One thing as warning: during check it often occurs the program seems to hang caused by time outs of the concerning page. Dont force quit: just wait, it will come back.

I tried on two separate occasions to download this app to my MacBook 2 GHz Intel Core Duo with 2 GB memory and on both occasions the "mounting failed" for who knows what reason. I had really looked forward to getting this because of the condition of my bookmarks. Oh well.
