iGrabNews ReviewDoesn't seem to do anything - Version: 1.3.1b1, 7/12/2008 03:35PM PST

I installed the latest version, but can't fetch the newsgroup I'm using. And the homepage states that the latest update was on July 2006. Don't try and don't buy!

iGrabNews ReviewDon't Install This NewsReader! - Version: 1.3.1b1, 6/29/2008 05:28PM PST

I registered this NewsReader when it first came out. It is now absolutely useless and my money was wasted. It does not download my full group list, writing to the Developer is a waste of time as his address is invalid. The forum has not had any entries in it since 2006,further VT should not list it any longer as someone may pay for it and lose their money. The worst part of all of this is that it is impossible to contact the developer because writing to his address on his web site results in your email being returned.

iGrabNews Commentarynot compatible (so far) with Leopard - Version: 1.3.1b1, 10/29/2007 04:52AM PST

Installed Leopard over the weekend and was sad to find that iGrabNews is almost inoperative after the change. I only was able to (barely) d/l a group of binaries from an .nzb, but the status of the download did not show, and the program responded dreadfuly slow to any commands. I was unable to retrieve headers at all. Hope there is a cure for this, as I really like the simplicity of this program. If you're still using Tiger, you will like this app.
