A. HenketI never needed any of the included documentation, but while I was localizing it I found it to be well written (includes a tutorial, simple flowcharts, FAQ) and helpful.
The developer has proved himself as a responsive supporter of his product, aided by a group of beta testers and localizers that are all really into the product.
Amasing new version!!!

echo oneI localize is great for the first translation which it can kick start quie well if you import Apples glossaries.
As a software developer I look at how well it handles the updating when I make minor updates and bug fixes.
I can not imagine how to handle localizing my app without it.
This is a great benefit to all who prefer mor than just Mac OS and Big Software in their own language. It allows for applications which would not otherwise have a chance to be localized to become available in more than one language.
iLocalize is way ahead

LuchsEterna-- You should read the system requirements as a suggestion -- I'm working with a G4/400 PCI (Oct. 1999!), OS X 10.4.5, 1GB RAM, and I'm feeling VERY comfortable 90% of the time with iLocalize.
-- Other apps may be free, but that's no argument at all. iLocalize pays for itself. The feature set is fantastic, and the user experience is so good that you do not need any documentation most of the times, even not as a beginner.
-- The complexity of your projects is of minor interest. Regardless of how complex a localization project is, iLocalize is a time saver. And time is money. Period.
-- The support is outstanding, the developer is responsive, friendly, and fixes bugs very quickly.
-- Well, this is about software for the Mac, isn't it? iLocalize has the right look and feel. Working with it is simply fun.
-- If you have to deal with only one small localization project every year, iLocalize may be not for you. iLocalize is not a toy, it's a tool. (And an impressingly good one...)
To sum up -- if you need an app to work on a more professional level, there's simply no alternative to iLocalize.
