Burning IMOVIES onto a DVD - help - Version: 1.19, 5/29/2005 03:54PM PST

I just bought the LaCie DVD burner and have spent hours trying to get it to burn IMOVIES. I have:
- copied the Quick Time versions of the IMOVIES into
Toastlite.
- attempted to burn (which takes forever and only allows
me to copy over two IMOVIES unless I upgrade to Titanium)
- waited and waited and waited ..
They burned but the sound quality is off. The background music is drowning out the audio on the video!
When I try it using the preview option in Toastlite, everything looks and sounds great. But the DVD's are useless and I can't hear the audio (voices) because the background music drowns out the audio.
Suggests?

Sounds like you just got a LEMON. It happens. Send it back get another, then if you still have same problem there might be grounds to think the model is pure crap.
Toast 7 allows me to burn DVD's so not all is lost, but it is annoying having spent all that money and not have it fully funtional.
I have sent an e-mail to Lacie Support but am still waiting on a reply from them. I can only assume that this version doesn't support 10.4.3
Any help with this would be appreciated.
TIA
