Much nicer than ABIView for looking at and analyzing our sequence data. OSX native also makes the program very nice to use. Tons of features, recommended to my whole lab (those that use Macs, that is). And it's free!
Awesome

A superb, stable product. We'd like to see additional features, but it's a wonderful program, overall.
Nice additional features

Once again, a nice improvement over the previous version - printing in particular has been greatly revamped and is much better than it was in 1.1. Motif and sequence searches within your trace and the ability to mark particular selections are particularly nice.
Having used it for a while now (v1.1 mostly) my main criticism is UI related in that window size and set-up for a file is not preserved between sessions. Also with this new version, parameters such as the marked residues and the chosen frame are also not preserved between sessions though, according to one of the developers, this is apparently more to do with the desire to preserve format compatibility with other apps (a completely new 4Peaks only format would be required otherwise).
