Writeup says it will run on 10.4 PPC, but it doesn't. I get the icon zoom as if it was launching, but nothing else.

Sets Developer NoteRe: Zilch! - Version: 1.0.5, 7/9/2004 08:12AM PST

I recommend that you check your local download settings. Something on your end may be interfering with the download since the download works just fine on all platforms I've tried. You could also download the file directly from "http://homepage.mac.com/andrewminer/andrew/sets/Sets_1_0_5.dmg.gz".

Starts to download "dlpage.gz" described as a "zero byte resource". And indeed... nothing downloads!
Very useful app.

Sets ReviewA good implementation of Set, but... - Version: 1.0.2, 4/3/2004 09:15PM PST

The author did a good job of implementing the game of Set, but it won't be around much longer. Set Enteprises is very vigorous about defending its copyright, and will likely be sending him a cease-and-desist order before too long. It's pretty easy to write a computer simulation of this game, and as I said, this is actually a well-written game, though I'd prefer it if the cards gave better animated feedback when making a set. Also, it seems like the remaining cards get shuffled, which is a bit confusing.

Sets CommentaryMight Be Fun - Version: 1.0.2, 4/2/2004 09:41AM PST

This game might be entertaining if it holds your interest long enough to actually play it. In my case, it didn't because the notions of what's the same and what's different in the game's sets never became clear to me so in early play I missed more often that I hit. Clearly, my view of "set" and "null set" are different from the author's.

Sets CommentaryA good game when it was 1st invented. - Version: 1.0.2, 3/29/2004 10:51AM PST

This seems a nice version of the game Set. That said, acknowleding the original authors of the game, their trademark on the name 'Set', and probably talking to them to as to get permission to republish their game in an electrnc format - when they have a Java version already - might be a good thing, at least a polite thing. See http://www.setgame.com/set/index.html for more details on the original, and http://www.setgame.com/ for more games from the same people.

This might be a challenging game for my two children (5 & 7). The rules seem pretty straightforward and easy to follow. A future suggestion might be to have skill levels...
