Product Description:

Imagine a program which automatically fills in missing information in your music library. MPFreaker searches the internet to find out what album that song belongs to, the year that song was released, what genre that album belongs to, track numbers, even album cover artwork -- and automatically adds this information directly into your song files, in seconds.
By using industry standard methods, you can see and access the new information MPFreaker adds in any audio player which recognizes these standard information "tags", including iTunes.

What's new in this version:

Ability to reveal currently selected song in Finder
Ability to easily view and change "Part of a compilation" setting
Displays explanatory warning after scanning a compilation track and finding no results
Uses some web databases more slowly to avoid annoying them
Sorting now maintained when switching playlists/directories and rescanning
Fixed a crash condition which occurred rarely during searches
Songs modified via drag-and-drop now properly update if also listed in main window
If iTunes is quit while MPFreaker is displaying a playlist, you may now choose to quit

This application is too buggy to pay for. And it doesn't do a good job retrieving information. I did my own album covers, so I unchecked that option - yet the app. still replaced my artwork with terrible pics. And it doesn't pull genres from the internet. If you have any incorrect genres for a certain artist, it will use that genre for all songs my that artist.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS APP.

It works well enough to get most lyrics most of the time - Big time saver - cheap date for so much time saved. Keep up the good work

This is really a fantastic application. I have more than 19000 titles in my iTunes collection and more than 90% of the lyrics and covers are found with MPFreaker.
It’s really worth each cent…
