Product Description:

DVDxDV Pro is proffessional DVD video extraction for users of Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro. Using the same video extraction engine as DVDxDV, DVDxDV Pro lets you extract multi-channel audio at up to 24 bit resolution. It can output video with lower field or upper field dominant interlacing. In addition, video can be cropped to a specific resolution.

What's new in this version:

Version 1.042 improves the quality of video that is resized or stretched to 16:9. The new algorithm reduces the amount of resizing artifacts that appear when frame size is enlarged, shrunk, or stretched. This feature can be enabled or disabled via the DVDxDV preferences panel. This new version fixes a problem that could cause the last few frames of a video clip to be cut off.

It does what it says it does, very well. I came back to using the Pro version after a year long period, updated to the new version on my newer Mac laptop and am very pleased. the support has been terrific and now there are videos on their website which fill in the holes of my understanding of the product from before. I recommend this product strongly to my friends and clients.

FFmpeg says that DVDxDV is in violation of the GPL.
