SubnetCalc Reviewnot useful for small classless subnets - Version: 1.0, 5/21/2005 09:12PM PST

daveking--2008
This program doesn't appear to support subnets with masks longer than 24 bits. It also seems to ignore the selected masks and just use the mask associated with the address class. A modern IPv4 calculator should be classless by default.

If you deal with networking this tool is essential. Its one of the first things I install on my macs. The interface is extremely clean and to the point.

This is really great for people who need help calculating or just understanding subnet masks. Very easy to understand without reading a manual, just point and click.

This looks promising. While the CIDR tab is empty, and other things need work the interface is exactly as it should be. Windows users who've used the popular WildPackets IP Subnet Calculator will feel right at home. And while some developers will have you believe that everyone is using Panther, this one works even in Jaguar.
