ohBoyThe impressive part is the rock-solid stability. It is a Java application that behaves and acts like a native Mac OS X application.
For Sametime users, depending upon the requisite features (file xfer), then the only choice for Mac OS X users is jBuddy Messenger Pro.
For those Sametime users with less stringent requirements, then the alternate choice of Adium 0.8 (or later) would be satisfactory. The other apps, Pi Messenger and Mercury, each have their quirks and bugs.
I'm currently evaluating both Adium and jBuddy Messenger Pro for Sametime compatibility. Even if I end up using Adium, I still may end up paying $30 for jBuddy just to give a pat on their backs.
