Product Description:

The networking/multi-user version of iBiz. If you work in a small office environment, or have your Macs networked together, then the iBiz Server/Client is an easy way to allow collaboration on projects by keeping all data centralized. iBiz Server/Client uses Rendezvous technology so there is no special (or any) configurations necessary.

iBiz is an easy to use time-billing and invoicing application. It integrates with iCal and Address Book, offers tax support and reporting features. Invoices and estimates can be quickly generated and completely customized using templates. This is the most intuitive time-billing and project management application out there. Essential for small businesses and project collaboration.

Can delete Document Monitor items by pressing delete key
Fixed bug where you couldn't edit an estimate event if it had been added as a work event and then deleted
Added corner menu to small Quick Timer table to hide/show columns
Improved behavior when editing job events
Improved udpating of quick timer menus
Hopefully fixed printing error bug
Improved PDF printing of invoices
Fixed bug where you couldn't change notes of an invoice
Fixed quick timer bug where they wouldn't load sometimes

I'm giving iBiz a try and it seems that iBiz Server application alone takes ~35-55% CPU on a 800MHz G4 with 1GB RAM. Is this normal?

I've been using iBiz (and its predecessors) for years. I've been through version one through this current beta, and the versions keep improving. This version - even though is still in beta - is incredibly build, stable, and ready for prime time. The revised invoicing section opens up a side of the program that was previously closed. While the choice of client specific billing versus project specific billing may seem to be a unique one, the billing side makes logical sense. I would never give money back on one project while another project was owing.

i've been running a law office of five attorneys and support staff on this for years, and I have found it to be a wholly reliable program.

I reccomend it to my clients and my colleagues without reservation.

I've had a less the glowing three month experience with iBiz Server. It's annoyed my company so much that I took about an hour to write about it.
