Product Description:
The iBiz Professional package includes iBiz Server and two copies of iBiz Client: the basis for a multi-user time-tracking network. With iBiz Pro, law firms, ad agencies or other professional offices with multiple employees, generating billable hours at different rates, can track their work, generate timely invoices and manage accounts effortlessly. And iBiz Professional grows along with your business by letting you adding new users - seamlessly.

- Fixed Snow Leopard bug with setting the calendar for an invoice alarms (FS#3095)
- Fixed bug with searching in Snow Leopard (#3094)
- Fixed some more Snow Leopard Console warnings
- Fixed issue with Doc Monitor taking forever to load/save (FS#2881)
- Fixed bug where a job event group could be assigned a tax rate (FS#3121)
- Fixed bug where a crash would occur if a job event group and its sub-events were deleted at the same time (FS#3017)
- Fixed bug with [FINAL BALANCE] calculation
- Fixed bug with [TTL AFTER DISCOUNT] calculation (FS#3142)
- Update checks now technically made to the correct URL (added file extension .txt)
- Improved client sorting with lowercase names (FS#3124)
- Fixed rounding error with project discount calculations (FS#3141)
- Fixed [TOTAL TIME] display with decimal time (FS#3070)

I'm giving iBiz a try and it seems that iBiz Server application alone takes ~35-55% CPU on a 800MHz G4 with 1GB RAM. Is this normal?

I've been using iBiz (and its predecessors) for years. I've been through version one through this current beta, and the versions keep improving. This version - even though is still in beta - is incredibly build, stable, and ready for prime time. The revised invoicing section opens up a side of the program that was previously closed. While the choice of client specific billing versus project specific billing may seem to be a unique one, the billing side makes logical sense. I would never give money back on one project while another project was owing.
i've been running a law office of five attorneys and support staff on this for years, and I have found it to be a wholly reliable program.
I reccomend it to my clients and my colleagues without reservation.

The problem with iBiz

I've had a less the glowing three month experience with iBiz Server. It's annoyed my company so much that I took about an hour to write about it. In short it has lost, time, created incorrect invoices and done some really dumb stuff. Read on at: http://voice.firefallpro.com/2005/12/problem-with-ibiz.html.
