Shelly SpearingNAIC toolkit is not mac compatible, but SIG is, and there's a windows version as well. I've been able to introduce a number of our new investment club members to the SSG approach to investing without worrying about the architecture clash. We can independently run our own SSG's and compare our analyses. What used to take me half an hour is now down to a half-dozen key strokes. I spend my time thinking rather than typing and can pre-screen dozens of companies in a matter of minutes.
The NAIC keeps changing things out from under him, and yet Brad rescues his users so quickly that most probably get the upgrade notice before they know that anything is wrong.
Makes fundamental analysis very easy

EowynThe NAIC abandoned the mac version of their SSG software, and I'm delighted to find this an excellent replacement. Option to eliminate "outlier" data; option for preferred procedure; option for change in price zoning are all simple and in line with NAIC procedures. One-click for relevant websites customized to the ticker symbol on the current form is a nice refined touch. Like all great Mac software -- It just works out of the box and lets you concentrate on the important stuff without ever getting in your way.
Plenty fast on an aging Lombard (G3, 333Mhz) with 10.2.8, and the OS9 version worked just as well on an beige G3 (both have broadband access).

stormovickto buy VPC 7.0 from MS when it comes out later this year and run the Windows NAIC software. This product is a much better solution since
it's here now, is much simpler to run and way lower cost in my case.
I belong to NAIC and this software pulls all the required stock data out
the NAIC web site in a flash. I'm running it on a Dual G5 but the cpu
overhead when pulling in data is just tiny - the App runs the cpu use up to 13% for a few seconds.
I couldn't be happier with this product - it's easy to learn and performs
exactly as advertised.

tangramsGreat software for people that don't know about NAIC yet, also. It's one of the few applications that analyzes stock prices by looking at fundamentals (eps, sales, P/E, etc), rather than technical indicators.
Looks good
