I have current SDL library installed and I get this error message from Digger in the Console.app:
The appropriate version of the library should be included in the package... not a line item note buried in docs directing users to scour the web for an outdated one. Also, for those users who are generally in a rush, a simple error handling which pops up a window when the library isn't found with a link to the SDL org would be a good idea to ease user frustration rather than the unhelpful application bail when the preferences dialog is exited.. I'm not a novice user, and after installing the only available SDL library (currently 1.2.6) I still can't get this game to work.. Some may say "RTFM", but come on, we're not configuring an enterprise server farm, we're just trying to play a game.. (and yes, I did RTFM... but it was so lengthy I fell asleep in the middle.. ;)
