Product Description:

InterActual-enhanced DVD titles, also known as DVD-ROM titles, include added-value features provided by studios to their customers. These features typically contain HTML content interacting with DVD-Video playback. These HTML pages may be stored locally on the DVD, or reside online at a studio website.

What's new in this version:

Support for a resizable, positionable, ROM banner window, which displays HTML-based ROM content in the InterActual Player application. Scripting in the banner window content can control the DVD video and receive DVD video events.
Window now does not resize in response to aspect ratio changes.
Mac-style skins can be read off discs that contain them.
Addition of advanced authentication routines so that Mac users can access some protected online websites.
Support for Safari/Webkit 1.2.
Miscellaneous bug fixes and stability improvements.

It plays full screen movie. You can hide the controller if you want. Plus you can watch movie files dvd backup from your HD. In my opinion this is the only player you will need to watch movies and its free.

It doesn't seem to authenticate the Notebook DVD correctly. So right now it seems like a duplication of Apple's DVD player. Until they fix the player to access the DVD's web site, I won't use it.
