Product Description:

Object Craft's CashForecaster enables you to view your cash flow over a defined period. You can enter any number of revenues and expenses (amount, frequency, description, etc) and then generate a graph and summary of your cash flow.

What's new in this version:

  • Optimisation to improve GUI response
  • Fixed the issue with hard coded currency symbols
  • Added ability to turn expenses and revenues off dynamically
  • Added ability to change forecast period from graph window
  • Added longer forecast times. (Very long forecast times (>10 years) take a little while to forecast

I moved from semi-monthly to bi-weekly salary payments and so I needed a tool to help me project my cashflow since things like mortgage payments would not be going out in sync with my pay checks. I actually started to write an app to do this, then found this. It works much as I planned mine would have, but I didn't have to do any work.

Worked almost perfectly for me - just put in my regular payments, pay checks etc. and it maps out my cashflow for me in a nice graph and lets me export to Excel (via CSV).

There's a couple of things that would make it perfect - just additional features.

A very simple program with an intuitive user interface that just does exactly what it says. I looked for a simple cash flow analyzer for some time, tried some expensive ones which I hated, and finally found this. I'd love to see a little development on extra features and would happily pay for it.

It would be great to be able to import from excel specific expenses exported from Quickbooks. I looked for this functionality in Quickbooks, but it isn't included. I really need an ap like this for my business.
