Product Description:

The best way to find bargains on eBay! AuctionSieve helps you rapidly filter through the auctions in ebay searches or categories. Especially designed for collectors, the quick, easy to use interface helps you exclude the stuff you're not interested in and target items of real value. Save an unlimited number of searches. Combine search results. Sort results instantly. Create an unlimited number of trash words for your searches just by highlighting what you don't want - no typing involved! Sort auction results by 'catch words' to help spot hidden bargains. Best of all, it's free, with no ads or spyware! Visit the website for windows/java/linux versions.

What's new in this version:

  • Selected text is now highlighted in all matching auction titles - it's awesomely awesome!
  • Better Mac behaviour - reliably stores which tabs you had open etc
  • eBay updates
  • Searches (with a category specified) that returned 0 results would return extra results from 'all categories' - AuctionSieve now ignores these
  • Fix for international sites like Italy that weren't returning more than the first result page

this app has a bizarre, completely unfamiliar and illogical interface that makes no sense, and comes with no documentation to boot. i'll try working with it a little longer to see if i can figure out why i should use this to search instead of JBidWatcher or simply searching on eBay, but at present the purpose of this application is not evident to me.

AuctionSieve Reviewauction sieve - essential for ebay regulars - Version: 1.8.6, 3/9/2007 04:05PM PST

this app helps me to keep track of products i'm interested in bidding on, and also obviously helps me find bargains. the filtering capability has saved me countless hours of searching and has helped me zero right in on a few products i've made money on.

if you are an ebay regular, there is no good reason why you shouldn't use this program - it works; it's free and is continually updated with additional features.

any problems i've had have been quickly resolved in communication with the developer - there's no way i'd be without this app.

I agree with Martin. This program is worth trying. You will love it. If you give it a chance it will become the only thing you'll use for your ebaying. It doesn't take long to learn it's features and even though they're simple they're powerful. But isn't simple what Mac is all about. Only time my version is slow is when it has to update an very heavy search with a lot of findings. Otherwise it's been running like clockwork for me. I'm on OS X vers 10.4.8. Thank you!
