Thanks to its tight integration with QuickTime, AlchemyTV DVR gives you a full range of capture options, including real-time MPEG-4 recording! AlchemyTV DVR delivers a clean and sharp picture, ideal for full size TV viewing and video capture. Best of all, DVR is supplied complete with remote control for maximum viewing pleasure!

What's new in this version:

  • Resolves occasional 'Black screen' problems under 10.3.7 and higher
  • Redesigned 'Scheduled Recordings' window. Better access to post-processing plug-ins, cleaner interface
  • The TV station list in the Tuner preferences now supports drag&drop
  • System keys are now displayed correctly in the Remote Control preferences
  • The audio volume is no longer set to maximum when recording
  • Corrected OSD display bug.
  • Empty filename templates now generate a default filename
  • The default filename template now is 'channel_name_program'. The 'Input' value has been removed from the default setup, but can still be entered manually.
  • Integration of a support tool allowing you to send error logs to Miglia support.
  • New application icon.

Since July '95, I've been quite satisfied with this product (AlchemyTV\DVR), despite a few wrinkles during setup - Power Mac G5\2.5 GHZ, 3GB w\Cinema Display.

AlchemyTV DVR Troubleshooting ReportSound Distortion after update - Version: 2.5, 11/1/2006 01:07AM PST

Sound distortion after switching channels, occational klicks and buzzes.

Changing audio input in Audio/Sound Prefs has the same effect.

Probelm is new after ver.2.5 installation.

Mac OS 10.4.8 on a 1.4GHz Quicksilver.
