20/20 Vision ReviewIt saved me a trip to the optometrist's office. - Version: 2.0, 2/27/2007 08:20PM PST

Well, it saved me a trip to the optometrist's office and that's good. (I hate when they put those drops in your eyes!) I figure, if it saves me another 8 or 9 visits over the next twenty or thirty years, it will have paid for itself handsomely!

I've been using this software in my new office now for the past 6 months, and I have to take back the negative comments I made (and deleted). I'm running this on a non-networked Dell PC, and I love it (with a few minor quibbles). (Use a KVM switch to control it, so I can run other apps on another PC without needing 2 keyboards on my desk) Works well, looks great, accurate, FAR better than a standard projector chart. I was able to edit the remote to add specific buttons for 20/20, 20/40, etc. I do find that it's a little slow in displaying the larger optotypes, taking maybe a count of 3 before the character shows. Otherwise, I have to say to the developer and anyone who read my first post, my apologies! I now recommend this highly to any eyecare professional looking for a computer-based eyechart solution.
