I use this app a lot every day. With the Apple Menu crippled as an application launcher I use You Control's "File System" module to create an organized file list that allows me to navigate through all of my folders -- just like the original Apple Menu. I also use the clock / calendar module to show both date and time at a glance, something that apparently was beyond the capabilities of Apple's programmers. The Mail module allows me to quickly scan my email inbox without bringing Mail to the front. Overall, one of my favorite programs.
Not ready for release

Installed, launched, worked fine for a couple of hours, hung opening a menu, force-quit engine, now engine will not load at all. This update isn't ready yet.
Kudos to the company who picked this up for continuing what is a fine product, but gotta get it up and crystal solid or it's effort wasted guys.

YouControl has certainly improved and many bugs have been fixed. Finally it's usable for me, and again it's part of my login items. I don't use the News Reader and Stocks modules.
With the modules I'm using, it works fine under 10.4.11, Dual G5 PPC 2GHz.
I don't understand your comment, Groucho6:

As far as I can tell the product is a You Software product. Hasn't this been the case for the past 4 years?
