Product Description:

Protect and secure your photos. iWatermark is the easiest and most popular tool available for watermarking artwork, digital photos and other images that you can then put on the web or send via email. iWatermark can also create thumbnails.
iWatermark provides a simple and efficient way to watermarking and creating thumbnails for images. It can process all the common image file formats. Also for the watermark you can use simple text or TIFF (Targered Image File Format) or PNG (Portable Network Graphic) images with masks for that professional feel and other supported images*. No matter what you choose to use as the watermark, you have control over the translucency of the watermark. To create thumbnails all you need to do is to choose the width and height and iWatermark will scale the image proportionally to fit within those boundaries.
Why would you want to watermark? Watermarking your photography, digital images and other artwork is important in today's day and age. It ensures that anyone using your work has the basic understanding that it belongs to you. Otherwise it could be upsetting if someone or some firm obtained you work and used it without your permission. With a few clicks you can reduce the likelihood of your work being ripped off, by using iWatermark.

What's new in this version:

  • Fixed a bug in the EXIF Preservation code for the JPEG comment.
  • Found a logic error where it was possible to have more than one update thread running which caused all sorts of problems.
  • Knock Out White now works again
  • Meta Data Viewer, now reports a more accurate Aspect Ratio for images.
  • Rotated and embossed watermark no longer produces unwanted colors
  • Watermark editor Preview no longer displays images corrupted.
  • Change the default watermark creation so it doesn't include a return when not needed.
  • Improved the KnockOutWhite routine (for speed and clarity)
  • Report Sender to cope with more than one file attached.

iWatermark ReviewNeeds improvement - Version: 3.2, 8/6/2009 01:38PM PST

This software has a great feature set, but the 3.2 demo keeps crashing and the IPTC data embed function doesn't work. Also, it displays vertical photos in horizontal format so you can't watermark vertical photos.

iWatermark ReviewEasy to use, saves me time - Version: 3.2, 5/17/2009 07:38PM PST

iWatermark is a very nice time saver. I used to batch process photos in Photoshop using actions... it was a nightmare... iWatermark is very nicely put together. Plus I think the guy who wrote the software has VERY good customer support! It may take him a day or two, but he has always been there to help me out.

This company are the sort who give software suppliers a bad name.

I downloaded the file for iWatermark, had a play with it and decided I liked the look of it. I payed my 20 bucks and awaited the email with my serial code. When it arrived, every time I went through the registration process I got a messsage up saying the code was not valid.

Several emails to them later I have had no reply. Their forum suggests this dire lack of manners and basic customer support is normal. Disgraceful outfit. Avoid at all costs.
