NewsLetter ReviewUseful, reasonably easy to set up and it works - Version: 2.8, 3/8/2009 11:05PM PST

I did a small client management project recently and was asked "how do we send our newsletter in a more interesting way?". I though that HTML e-mails would be the go and found the "NewsLetter" app. Once you read the instructions it's not too hard to get going and the response from the business clients has been positive.
Lessons learnt:
1. keep the newsletter simple
2. use inline CSS
3. Make sure all your images are linked absolute and not relative. i.e. it should have the complete url http://www.xyz.com/_img/blah.jpg. If not, the images will display as broken links
4. there are still people with 800px wide screens so don't set fixed widths beyond 800px.
5. Give people a way to unsubscribe from the email newsletter.
This is a newsletter we sent by way of example http://www.lightningfasthomeloans.com.au/_newsletters/0902/index.html
