xPad ReviewExcellent and thank you... - Version: 1.2.6, 2/4/2009 06:00PM PST

Thank you to the developer of this software. I am using it on a MacBook Pro, Mac OS X 10.5.6. It works without a problem. It works beautifully from the services menu of Safari. I select the part of the page I want to copy and 'Open selection in xPad'. It immediately (no delay) opens, gives it a title and saves it. I am then able to print, edit, whatever I might want to do. The privilege that it is freeware is also appreciated.
Sincerely,
Ralph

xPad ReviewUS Date Format - Version: 1.2.6, 11/20/2008 12:15AM PST

The date gets added automatically to the side bar but there is no way to change the default US format. How about adding Day:Month:Year and Year:Month:Day options.

xPad ReviewWhat a wonderful little program - Version: 1.2.6, 1/11/2008 05:12PM PST

I've been looking for a simple replacement for the old classic notepad for years. I've tried them all. Most notepads are too ambitious (slow, with steep learning curves) or too simple with ugly interfaces. xPad gets it right. I use iOrganize for keeping track of my life (passwords, serial numbers, misc). But xPad now sits on my dock as an essential utility. It opens instantly, and is a great place to store misc. pieces of text etc.until I can organize them more formally.

Many thanks to the creator.
