Product Description:

Featuring a high performance Philips tuner and full QuickTime support, AlchemyTV lets you watch TV in full screen mode and listen to FM radio on your PowerMac.
Your favourite TV program can even be recorded to your hard drive in the format of your choice.

With its TV/Antenna, composite, S-VHS inputs and stereo audio connector, AlchemyTV can tune in to any TV or radio station or record from your VCR. The Mac OS X compatible software allows you to select the supported QuickTime plug-in of your choice. Fast PowerMacs can even capture straight to the new MPEG-4 codec!

What's new in this version:

The installer does not contain manual files due to size. Existing manual files should be preserved by the installer if they are current, i.e. there's no newer manual available at miglia.com. Otherwise a dummy manual file is installed.
There is a new script applet "Install AlchemyTV Manual" that canbe used to replace an old manual file inside the application bundle with a newer release. This script applet is placed inside the AlchemyTV folder.
The request to look for new versions does block the application while at startup. Now the request runs only once a week.
Clipping and transparency are disabled for full screen mode.
Window size 1:1 always works now.
Entering non-existing channel numbers is ignored now.

Yes but I wish they had fixed the audio sync problem. Still records out of sync on my G5 regardless of ALL fixes... Doh!

I welcome all the recent updates, but the app has gotten a bit bloated. It takes a considerable amount of time for me to get a television picture after launching it on an 800mhz G4.
