Yes but I wish they had fixed the audio sync problem. Still records out of sync on my G5 regardless of ALL fixes... Doh!

AlchemyTV ReviewKeeps getting slower - Version: 2.2, 9/27/2004 05:19PM PST

I welcome all the recent updates, but the app has gotten a bit bloated. It takes a considerable amount of time for me to get a television picture after launching it on an 800mhz G4.

AlchemyTV ReviewFantastic Update - Version: 2.1.2, 8/31/2004 04:10AM PST

Compared to the previous version (mine was 2.0.6), this is a major improvement. I just wonder why the software update feature on 2.0.6 did not identify this update (it told me I was current). I bumped into v2.1.2 on versiontracker when I was having BIG problems with v2.0.6.

AlchemyTV ReviewMiglia makes me wonder - Version: 2.0.7, 6/13/2004 10:35PM PST

I had the misfortune of buying one of Miglia's TV cards. Not sure if everyones asleep over there, but I cannot even get the supplied registration number to register. This is hardly surprising given the experience to date. Card was ordered from their online store who sent it via UPS. UPS have obviously never looked at a map, but to get it to me in Australia they first sent it to the U.S. (Kentucky) that was just before it sent three days doing a U.K. tour. Next it went to Honolulu where it got a three day tan before finding its way to me after a stop of one day in Sydney. Well done UPS. Not that is Miglia's faulty on the tardy shipping, but then again Miglia choose UPS not me & they really deserve one another as Miglia are none too bright either. Once I installed said TV card & installed the software. Oh yes the software. First off the nong who thought putting the registration number label on the CD sleeve to seal it needs to put his/her head in a vice and have it tightened up somewhat, as they surely would have noticed that said label attaches itself with gusto to the underside of the CD each time you go to pull the CD out of its sleeve. Well done. Once you install the software I noticed it did something a little odd (though odd seems the norm at Miglia), it installed not one but two helpings of Alchemy TV, though TV was nearly twice the size of TV2. Interesting, as I only did the one install & all seemed 'normal'. Opening the app required you to enter the registration number. Not sure why, but the registration number is approximately 4 miles long. Is there some sort of record event for the worlds longest registration number? Clearly we have a winner! Once the rego # took the road to insanity continued as the effort to set TV channels with the 'seek' method provided proved impossible, as scanning 104 channels in about 20 seconds won't allow you to hit "STOP" at the right point. Thus it is impossible to tune channels. There is nothing in the User's PDF about how to set channels just the briefest of vague info, with no detail. So being the ever intrepid adventurer went to Miglia's website where all manner of intellect abounds. Under AlchemyTV the latest software update is 2.1.1 which I downloaded and got a good deal more than I bargained for. The website tells you its a 3.5Mb download. WRONG WRONG WRONG. Its 11.4Mb also its probably the wrong download as once you install it you have to enter the previously mentioned world record long registration number, which, joy of joys, it won't recognize. I am now in the process of ordering an airline ticket to the home town of Miglia, but I have a feeling the won't be too happy to see me due to the amount of pandemonium I might bring.

AlchemyTV ReviewGreat Product! - Version: 2.0.7, 3/14/2004 07:00PM PST

I've used it for a month or so, and it's great. It replaced the MyTV/FM product, which the software folks just could never get right. The only thing that this software needs is to fix the channel slot number versus the channel number... ie: channel slot 1 might be for television station on channel 2.

there is lots of room for improvments:
- record ability within the radio application
- Teletext support (called Videotext in Germany)
- timeshift funktion widly known in the pc world

- The dvr software does not work in my machine allways stops recording after about 6 minutes

hope this stuff will be integrated in the future

AlchemyTV ReviewExcellent - Version: 2.0.2, 12/11/2003 10:55PM PST

Just bought this card a week ago. I love it.

To remove the unwanted channels, Open the Channel list and double_click on the Black dots under the Rec. Column.

I had a hard time figuring out how to do this as well, as it is not covered in the documentattion.
I wrote tech. Support and they provoded me with the answer very quickly. Thanks eric.

They also said that they will be releasing the DVR application as a separate download for users of The regulat Alchemy TV card in about a week. Sweet.
