Doesn't appear the the server app will launch on my machine, running Panther (10.3.1). More information about this app (ie, if you want your app to be used, it is always a good idea to provide documentation, any documentation).
I have been waiting to have a remote access option for OSX, other than Apple Remote Access. For god's sake, this is something that is simply part of NT, and MS actually provides a nice OSX-compatible client for it, too. One of the few things that Apple needs to improve. Kudos to the developer for taking the initiative.

In future versions, it would be a good idea to notify users about this installation.
This might be a good solution for people who need to control another machine in their home, but I don't believe there is any kind of authentication in place, so using it on a publicly accessible network is probably a bad idea. I'm also not sure why the item that is installed in /Library/StartupItems (found by "sudo ps -ax | grep ServerX" in the terminal) needs a space at the end, as nonprinting characters can really confuse novice users.
Overall, I would suggest a major UI overhaul to bring the application up to par with Apple's UI guidelines, as I didn't find the drop down menus very clear. This has a lot of potential for people who don't want to pony up the cash for Apple's own Remote Desktop (which is an excellent application), but it has a long way to come to be useful for anything more than the very limited applications it has now. Perhaps if the author were to look at incorporating code from the VNC project and creating a VNC compliant bundled solution, using the extra features only when the client is available, this would be a really neat app.
