Product Description:

VoodooPad Lite is the stripped down free version of VoodooPad.

VoodooPad is a new kind of notepad. It's like having your own digital junk drawer, where you can jot down notes, web addresses, to-do lists... Anything on your mind. VoodooPad automatically links each page together, to form a miniature world wide web just for you! Anybody familiar with WikiWikiWeb will feel right at home with VoodooPad.

Type in your notes, and highlight important words or phrases to create new pages; or drag and drop folders, applications, or URLs into VoodooPad - they're linked up whenever the word representing it is found.

What's new in this version:

Performance improvements.
Aliases have been added to xml import/export.
Parser update to fix a couple of WikiWord bugs.
Fixed a bug with RTFD export.
Fixed a web export problem with template includes.
Fixed a bug where you could not import a single rtfd file.
Fixed a bug when multiple lists come close to each other in 10.4.
Fixed a bug where plugins were not showing up on intel macs.

How To Get Previous Versions of VoodooPad Lite - Version: 4.0, 11/21/2008 02:34PM PST

Flying Meat very kindly got back to me regarding their bug that installs version 4.0 of VPL, which is 10.5 LEOPARD ONLY, on top of the last working version for 10.4 Tiger, v3.5.2. Gus, from their support team, wrote me:

I was ticked off to find that Voodoo Pad Lite FALSELY reported to me that a new version was available and offered to install it. Like a good little user I said yes. Turns out I was really a luser because what was installed wasn't compatible with my Mac OS version, which was 10.4.11. Darn. Now I have to go dig up an older version of Voodoo Pad Lite so I can use it again.

I wrote a report to the developer about their bug.

It is terrific that the Lite version is offered for free. I am grateful. But when a program sabotages itself due to a developer blunder, I am deservedly miffed. :-P

I just started to use this little app (the free version), and it seems very nice. However, it seems it is not possible to copy text in another application (TextEdit for example) and to paste it in VoodooPad Lite... This makes this app that could be great not so efficient...
