Product Description:

MacDialer is a handy, in-obtrusive application that makes it easy to quickly dial contacts from your Mac. Living in the status bar, MacDialer is always handy and never in the way. It is highly customizable, letting you choose every aspect from how to format phone numbers to even what items are in its menu. You can dial from the built-in menus, from the amazing Dial Pad, from Apple's Address Book via an included plugin, and from any applescript-aware applications (examples for Palm Desktop and FileMaker Pro are available). Using MacDialer, you can dial through your Mac's internal modem, included speakers, or Vonage.

What's new in this version:

Adds support for Cisco IP phones and (by popular request) a paste function to the Dial Pad.

Nice software, but still needs BroadVoice.com, Asterisk and Gizmo Project support.

Downloaded v3.0 and tried to "start" application, but it didn't run.
Version 2.6.3 ram (with one problem- application "crashed" everytime preferences were changed but at least it ran.

Machine is G4 w/ OSX 10.3.9

This app only dialed correctly once out of 5 tries for me. Some of the preferences didn't sseem to work and my entries in my "Phone Book" vanished each time I quit the program. Try Jon's Phone Tool instead. It's the same price, is easier to use, and works great.
