I have found this to be true for two titles from Feral software so far. This and Enemy Engaged. The games recognize every device I have connected. My CH Products F-16 Combat Stick USB, my CH Products Pro Throttle USB and my CH Products Pro Pedals. But they only let me use one of the devices for control during game play. For an aircraft as complicated to fly as a Helicopter this is utterly rediculous. I've played much lower end sims that allow the use of multiple devices. It seems necessary for any flight sim. Why they would only allow the use of one controller is beyond me. You would want to have your flight Stick or steering wheel if you have one as the analog steering control and your pedals as the analog gas and brake. Lets face it, for a driving game to really be any good it has to give you comfortable and famialr analog control of Steering, Gas and Brake. But NO. You must pick one controller to use. Not all three. What kind of Crap is that. I hope they wake up and smell the coffee and fix this with an update. It could be cool but with the control options being what they are it's total crap.

If you install Total Immersion Racing 1.0.2 (released in July 2004) you should find an app called 'Input Calibrator' in your 'Total Immersion Racing' folder. You can use this app to fine tune the calibration of your controllers (check the Input Calibrator ReadMe for further details)

I bought this game when I purchased a new Dual 2.0 G5, upgraded with a Radeon 9800 Pro (retail) and a 23" Cinema Display. I also purchased a Logitch Wingman Force Feedback wheel.
Racing sims for the Mac are few and far between so it pleases me to no end what a brilliant piece of work Total Immersion Racing is. The game play, graphics, sounds and action are fantastic and this runs up there with some of the best PC games I've played. My only gripe with the game itself (and TIR isn't the only racing sim afflicted) is the lack of damage from hitting objects or other cars making the action more arcade like than simulation. None-the-less the game is a MUST HAVE for any Mac fan with fast enough CPU and a love for racing.
One word of warning for any ATI 9800 Pro users. Using ATI's control panel to turn on the FSAA, Anisotropic Filterning or Vertical Sync will cause the game and the entire system to crash. Repeatedly. It looks beautiful while it lasts and the game is still playable on my equipment in full screen mode (1920x1200) with the Radeon settings at medium but it's impossible to get more than 4-5 laps. Turn it off.
