Product Description:

This application is for managing your DVD collection, with emphasis on ease of use and ease of entering titles. There is integrated Amazon searching and shopping cart, genre categorization and customizable filters, choice of UI views, web builder/export, and XSL-enabled exporting.

What's new in this version:

First, this is a BETA so backup your data before you use! There are changes to the database manager in this release.
The Help menu has a new way to submit comments or bugs along with your activity log.
Lots of internal code reorg and isn't of interest to most people, but needed for software stability.
The database manager has been optimized to cut data load time roughly in half.
More updates to Cast list support from recent Amazon changes.
New Tools/Update Easter Eggs feature to download eggs from dvdattache.com and add to your titles. You'll know you have an egg by the small rabbit icon in the listing window (get it -- bunny, Easter egg -- I couldn't find a nice looking egg icon anyhow). - NOTE: there is already a bug here I know of regarding the "replace eggs" checkbox but it is harmless right now.

I've been using DVDAttache for a few months now, and love it. A very nice combination of just the right feature set, relatively easy to learn and use, a very responsive author, and you just can't beat the price.

I recently had a problem with some images not coming in properly during the Amazon search function. I emailed the author, and within a few days, this version - which fixes the problem - was made available.

Thanks to the author for a wonderful program, and for being so responsive.

DVDAttache looks like a promising application. Unfortunately, the icon bounces in the dock for a bit before failing to launch. I'm looking forward to future versions so that I can give it a try.

I'd love to see a barcode scan feature too!
