DVDAttache looks like a promising application. Unfortunately, the icon bounces in the dock for a bit before failing to launch. I'm looking forward to future versions so that I can give it a try.
I'd love to see a barcode scan feature too!

A promising application. There are some nice features not found in other DVD cataloging programs. However, the lack of any ability to import an existing collection en masse makes this useless for me. I am not going to manually add 400+ titles, even with the neat "Quick Add" feature.

This is my first try with this product. Initially looks pretty good for Freeware, but it ultimately fails the test. The overall searching functions are okay, though I was disappointed that the Quick Add search only searches "popular titles" and misses a lot of those that I have. I ended up having to do the Amazon search to find them. When they do show up with the Quick Add search, there are sometimes multiple titles with no ability to differentiate between them as it is only a title, no image. That can be found in the Amazon search, though switching between found titles fails to refresh the box image. Also the keyboard shortcut for Removing A Title, does not appear to work and the one for Quick Add search sometimes fails to work. I tried three separate times redoing my collection running on a known stable computer and everything appeared okay. When opening the program everything would be there sometimes and then I would try again and the titles were all or partially missing. I worked this over a period of hours and just kept losing records. The images are still stored in the folder, but the database has lost the records.

On my new MacIntel iMac most of the functions of this program don't work at all. Click a button and wait forever. No function, no feedback no nothing.

Was running 3.4.0 and deleted/replaced it with a fresh copy of 3.6.0. My copy now immediately quits.

I am running 10.4.5 I replaced my old version 3.1.1 with 3.6.0 and now it instantly quits on launch. Did I muck something up? Or is there a problem?

I have used DVDAttache for years, with the program getting better and better with time. The developer has obviously put a great deal of time into and energy into developing DVDAttache, for which I thank him. Excellent work. Excellent work. I have to confess to only buying one DVD through DVDAttache (I keep forgetting). Buying CDs and DVDs helps the developer defray Web expenses, etc. I recommend DVD Attache, you can't beat the price.

Every time I try to launch this program, it quits immediately. I haven't been able to try it at all. I am using OS X 10.4.6. What's up?
I recently had a problem with some images not coming in properly during the Amazon search function. I emailed the author, and within a few days, this version - which fixes the problem - was made available.
Thanks to the author for a wonderful program, and for being so responsive.
