I just tried to view a .doc and it came up blank, but I could right click to save it...
THANK YOU Manfred Schubert!!

Ok, I'll admit it--I am almost giddy at the return of this simple, but wonderful plugin. I don't remember which system upgrade broke the previous version, but I have SO missed having the ability to view Word documents within Safari. Especially since a website I need to visit fairly frequently for work insists on posting their daily schedule in Word format--and even with Quick Look, it was still a pain-in-the-a$$ to have to download the document first every time. And then there are the sites that offer forms and templates in Word format--now I can look first and decide which to download.
I'm so happy to have this back, I would send the developer some money if there were a donate button somewhere. But in the meantime, thank you so much.

Dumb 3.0 installer, it doesn't replace the 2.0.1 version, you have to do that manually....
