Try to get a replacement copy after a crash even after you've paid for it... I dare you.

Modern Art Screensaver ReviewFair start but needs more info and animation - Version: 3.0, 11/21/2003 06:21AM PST

They're intriguing paintings; there's a lot of promise here. But.

-need better transitions between pictures, not just wipes. Fades, dissolves, all that stuff would make it more interesting. Weird to suggest that a screensaver should do something, but you want to know your screen hasn't just frozen.
-need some movement, or the option, in the picture itself. Like for the cosmos and beach screensavers. It makes the picture more interesting.
-hell, if you're going to educate me, tell me what the pictures are! Artist name, painting name, painting date, perhaps even where it's now to be found. Those could be part of the transitions, perhaps.

It's OK for a first pass, but I'd feel like buying it if it had those things. As it is I ran it once and then uninstalled - but I'll watch out for improvements. Three stars for quality pictures, and it does work; two stars missing for potential improvement (of my mind too).
