I have a button via print menue to create PDFs from any up for free. And for $ 79 I would buy myself iWork for much more Power Point supporting features. Sorry, I just don't get it why anyone should pay money for that app.

just tried the evaluation download. previously had problems with ragtime-files (using character spacing) with the built-in OSX pdf-output. didn't work well and needed lots of retouching. pdf-output with jaws worked extremely well with the first try: no characters overlapped (as with OSX built-in pdf-output) and everything looked like in the original layout. what do you want more? extremely easy to use; a choice of outputs (small for e-mailing pdfs, medium for laserprinter output and large for printshop jobs) and security settings etc. etc.
criticism: they should take a look at the loacalization of their manuals: there is no "konfig.editor" - as the german manual insinuates - its still called "Configuration Editor" also in the german localisation. for a beginner looking for "konfig." via the finder and finding nothing is a bit disappointing and doesn't give confidence. a pity for such a good piece of software!
otherwise, really good!

I have used JAWS in OS9 and was the best PDF creator for a group of projects I had designed. It was the fastest workflow. I use it in OSX in Quark 6.1 and once the setting are done has created the BEST pdf files so far. Trouble free. They are quite large though you can use Acrobat Pro 6.x to reduce the file size as your use allows. I own both Acrobat Pro and Quark with JAWS and will ONLY use JAWS now.
