but it uses way too much processor power, and turning down the CPU usage makes it go way too slow (while still using quite a bit of the processor). Also, the snow could look much more realistic I think.

I find this to be a great little "put you in the holiday mood" program. $10 is absolutely a fair price.

To me it's not important how much the Windows version of this application costs, as many Windows users obvously aren't very good about choosing value and quality for money. This application is definitely overpriced, and I certainly can't imagine using Snow at any other time besides the few weeks leading up to Christmas, and $10 is a bit much to ask for that. There are heaps of freeware apps that have taken longer to develop than Snow I'm sure that I use far more often, and if this is worth $10, then those free apps are worth $50, and that would be too much. I don't know if creating such software should be considered an investment because I thought that it would be more like a hobby, so to me, looking for the investment return is doing it for the wrong reasons.
