...which is cool but....I find that "System Optimizer" is a great application. I'm running Panther 10.3.1 on my Dual 1.8 G5 and I've had absolutely zero problems. I sometimes wonder if it's doing anything to make this monster perform any better or not but...I guess I just feel better knowing that it might be doing something to keep my files and applications nice, tidy and running smoothly. Try System Optimizer. It's available here on Versiontracker.

I like VT, and I like the variety of software that is available for free, and pay. I saw this system utility and thought I would give it a try. Installed easily...on startup however, I got a script error message, and after running it, the party was just getting started.
When I rebooted my Mac, I noticed right off the bat that my Finder Application was not running. I also noticed that I could not empty my Trash. When attempting to run some applications, they simply would not run...shall I continue?.
Luckily, I have my software and serial numbers backed up for just such an emergency. Personally, I will never try using this application again simply for the headaches it caused. Yes, it may be free, but free comes at a price.
If I had some advice to give, it would be to avoid this "software" like the plague.
