I've been using this for over 2 years and have never had any problems with it. I think it does what it says it does, and for ten bucks? how can I complain? If you have problems with port 25 use gmail! it's an encrypted port which is never blocked!

If you have any sort of problem with this shareware, Bernard Teo is great about responding to emails, but I find his documentation and explanations (both online and via email) difficult to understand and unclear.
I don't want to speak for everyone, but for me as a "Mac person" I need simple software, that works and when it does not, I need clear, simple, step-by-step instructions how to resolve issues. I would suggest that he get some help improving his documentation as this would make Postfix Enabler easier to use.
Right now, since I cannont understand his instructions for getting around an ISP that blocks port 25 or how to set up my own mailserver, Postfix only works from my office. At home I still have to manually select my local ISP's smtp when MacMail cannot send using "localhost."
The whole reason I bought this was so I would never have to do that annoying task everytime I change locations/ISP's on a roving MacBook Pro. Postfix Enabler and Bernard Teo have, unfortunately, been unable to help.
Perhaps one day someone will explain it to me and when they do, it will be worth the $10. Untill then, close, but no cigar.

Yes, I know, I thought $10 for a one-trick-pony was a bit steep too. But...it's not. I messed around with Postfix documentation and tutorials all day, and could not get the thing to work properly. So, after realizing it was probably going to take me a better part of a week to learn enough about UNIX and Postfix to get it working, I gave in and shelled out the $10.
Boy, was it worth it. Five minutes after I downloaded the program, I had a fully functional mailserver working on my Mac.
The online documentation and program interface could be a little clearer--I'm lucky I spent so much time reading Postfix docs, so I could understand better what Postfix Enabler was doing. But really, it does what a Mac program should do...It Just Works.

Man, I'm on a 5Mbps connection and I'm downloading this file at 1.4kbps/sec that's 1.4k! I have 1.76MB left to download and it'll take me 22 minutes.
Good App, but MailServe even more worth it!

This has been an extremely functional and useful app for me for a while. I tried hacking around with Postfix for a while and got parts of it working but yearned for the one-click and it works functionality of this app (the customization can come later as you become more advanced). I recently paid to upgrade to same developers next version MailServe and I couldn't be happier with it's Alternate ports (25 doesn't work most places anymore), Real-time Black Lists for spam, Virtual Aliases (if you host more than one domain and both want info@insertdomain.com). Even after breaking it a couple times already by messing around in the config files, there's always the Red Cross at the top of the app that restores everything to default and you can try again. Not to mention the excellent responsive help from the developer who has responded within minutes sometimes when I can't solve something.

Postfix Enabler has been replaced by MailServe The url is
http://cutedgesystems.com/software/MailServe/index.php
There is upgrade pricing.
I've used Postfix Enabler since the initial release and it has been invaluable when moving from hotel to hotel and being able to send email from pretty much anywhere.
