Product Description:
iTaskX 2.1 is a complete project management solution for Mac OS X. It helps you carry out large business projects, media activities or detailed time schedules. It adapts to your working processes and ensures an overview on you targets, dates, costs and the current status of your projects.
Furthermore the seamless integration of the Aqua user interface of Mac OS X and the built-in guide enables users to become familiar with iTaskX 2.1 rapidly. Accordingly initial periods are reduced to a high extent und you will be able to achieve productive results with iTaskX in a trice.
iTaskX 2.1 Highlights

Most important changes since iTaskX 2.0:
- Support for Spotlight searching (Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger).
- Rollup display for summary tasks. (Displays all child tasks in the summary row, when the summary is collapsed)
- Fixed variance calculation.
- Imporved iCal and text import/export.
- Further bug fixes for the most commonly reported problems since iTaskX 2.0.

We have used this product in our department for nearly 2-years. We reviewed almost 20 different PM products from FastTrack to the shareware apps and found that this product met our needs and allowed us to work with our MS Project users. For the most part it has been a good product: stable with functional features. However, we are concerned about the lack of further development and the lack of an Intel build. Now that we are all Intel Mac and moving to Leopard the concern grows. The vendor site indicates "Leopard Ready" but he lack of new builds and universal or Intel code may have us shopping in the near future. We like the fact the product has not been constantly changing very few months but a new build would be prudent. Tons of new features is not the concern and would probably just mess up a good product. Give us an Intel build with a few refinements for compatibility with other PM suites, reporting and presentation features, etc. and call it version 2.2. in the future they can focus on interface enhancements and project sharing and go for version 3...then we would be willing to review and buy new licenses. Please.

There hasn't been a release in some time. The product has not been updated to run natively on Intel Macs (still a PowerPC program that runs under Rosetta). There are a few bugs and I have had no response since submitting details of the issues.

Super übersichtlich, kopieren, starten, arbeiten!
Einfach, intuitiv und nicht überladen.
Dazu im Preisleistungsverhältnis spitze. Es ist in Deutsch und English zu bekommen. Man kann die Zeitbalken für jedes Erignis separat einfärben, dass macht die Sache übersichtlich und läßt Zusammenhänge infach darstellen. Bei Merlin geht das z.B. nicht. Sonst konnte ich keine Unterschiede feststellen
Im Vergleich zu Fast Trak Schedule bietet das Programm das bessere Preisleistungsverhältnis und deckt wahrscheinlich 90% aller Projekt und Zeitplan Managementaufgaben ab.
Gute Druckfunktionen (Ausschnitte, von – bis, Ereignisse etc.)
