So many occasions and so many friends and family. How many greeting cards do you buy in a year? Easy Card was created specially to help us all to easily and inexpensively create greeting cards. Easy Card solves the age old dilemma of mankind by making it easy to give a birthday card at the last minute to a close friend and:

  • without having to drive 20 miles in the rain to get it.
  • give one which actually expresses your real feelings and sentiments and not those of some writer at Hallmark.
  • that contains your own digital photography, art and unique fonts.
  • which makes envelopes just the right size (patented technology) and prints them (with address) out. No more searching for an envelope that fits.
  • send via email allows you to send the card thousands of miles at the last moment or hopefully sooner and get it there before its too late.
  • without having to pay $$ for a card that does not really capture your feelings.

Easy Card is the easiest and most connected greeting card creation product available. Create and send professional quality greeting cards for all occasions, right from your home computer. Send your greeting cards via regular surface mail or via e-mail. Use the built in envelope system to create envelopes for your cards, when sending via surface mail.

There are 3 ways to use Easy Card: 1. Download a beautiful ready made card from within Easy Card. 2. Use a template of your own. 3. Create a greeting from scratch.

If you choose to create a greeting card from scratch you can use your own graphics, photographs, scans or download pictures from within Easy Card, using the "Get Picture" option. When you have a picture you can then apply a series of effects to that picture, including but not limited to rotation, inverse and grayscale. Writing the message is just as easy. Choose from a selection of pre-written messages or compose your own. Spice up your messages by using the standard bold, italic, underline and easy card's shadow, outline or caption. Change the color and choose the font using a font selector that shows what the font looks like before using it.

One of easy card's patented abilities is creating perfectly fitting envelopes for your greeting cards. You can customize the envelope in the same way you customize the sections of the card, you can also place your address on the envelope as the return address. Mac OS X users can choose the recipients address from the Apple Address Book.

Everything is easy with easy card, not just making greeting cards. On open you can easily see and open your previous greeting cards, see and use your templates, download and use templates from Script Software, display, read & resend any sent or saved e-mails. The interface for making cards has been radically redesigned to make it as simple and quick to use as possible. We have devised a system that allows you to download images from Script Software. These images are yours to use freely when creating greeting cards.

There is a font selector that shows you how the font looks before setting your text to use that font. When sending e-mails, easy card remembers previous e-mail address and can suggest an address when you start to type. Mac OS X users have integration with the Apple Address Book, easy card can predict e-mail addresses from entries in your address book. easy card is the only greeting card product that allows you to print greeting cards, envelopes and to send your cards as e-mail.

Easy Card ReviewA really good blend of ease and power - Version: 3.3.4, 2/8/2008 12:00AM PST

It is indeed easy to use. Very. And very reliable: does all the printer placement for you, for example.

Yet don't think it's under-featured or simplistic. It isn't.

Its creators have managed a superb blend of features and ease of use... thoroughly recommended.

Great value for money - this is the one of its type

Easy Card Usage Tip. . . if it looks like it froze - Version: 3.3.4, 4/12/2007 11:57AM PST

If it looks like it froze, it may just be working on a big picture. It doesn't have very good status indication for big pics, even for just moving them slightly. It will seem like it is doing nothing, but just let it finish. Then if you frantically click again like I usually do, you just add to the problem by setting up more for it to do.

Easy Card Reviewtakes the prize for simple print layout - Version: 3.3.4, 4/12/2007 06:03AM PST

It works for me. Very easy UI. All the features I need but none of the clutter.

Frankly, I couldn't find another print layout program that worked well enough for my purposes, or if they did work, were simple enough for me to figure out. And who knew I would pass up all the high priced stuff for this gem. Precision is the keyword in print layout. And this was the only program that put my images precisely where I wanted them, and with ease . . . no messy calculations.

Works great with borderless printing. And when I realised I needed to rotate an image, the primary tools were there and worked well.

What I liked best of all was the simplicity with which I could make tiny adjustments to the size of my front page photo without arithmetic . . . just point and drag. These tiny adjustments are often needed to extend the photo just enough to cover the fold or an edge so the white doesn't show.

Takes the dread out of greeting card and print layout tasks.

One minor glitch is that I get a weird message when I do some routine dialogue box stuff like cancel a printing. It hasn't yet had any noticable effect on functionality. When I have more time I will try to isolate it.
