Leif Astrom
for people like me who wish to compare financing alternatives or calculate NPV over a project lifetime. Great variety of cash flow types.

FinFlow does it right. You enter your inflow/outflow events, their dates, and then get an instant view of your multiplier, your NPV, NFV, IRR and your interest vs. principle breakdown.
Sounds complicated, right? Not really. Can you balance your checkbook? Then you can use FinFlow. Really.
Sorry to gush, but I'm just amazed by this product. I'm 2 weeks into my Finances courses and this program just saved me about a chapter of the textbook.
For non-business users, this will also help you figure out how much to save for your retirement or your kids' college fund, even if you slip a few payments or overpay once or twice.
And yeah, a lot of the same things can be done with a spreadsheet, but trust me, this is a TON easier.
The documentation on this program is excellent. The program has a few conventions which are unusual (the "unknown" type event, for example), but the numerous examples in the documentation makes it all very clear. The program is stable, easy to use, and gives a simple but rich view of your data and results.
